American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)
ARTBA is a national federation of private firms, public agencies and
associations with a primary goal of advocating strong federal investment
in transportation infrastructure. ARTBA promotes market development of

American Society of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO)
The site includes The ASSHTO Journal, on-line ordering of general and
technical publications, information on programs and services, an up-to-date
calendar of events, and information on committees and membership.
FL ASCE ( Florida Section American Society of Civil Engineers
The mission of the Florida Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers is to advance professional knowledge and improve the practice of civil engineering. Today's civil engineer uses every advantage to meet the demands of their profession. American Society of Civil Engineers pioneers new programs, policies, educational activities, and professional resources to help engineers successfully compete in their business. That's why today's civil engineer has a home at the Florida Section ASCE. With 12 Branches and 11 Student Chapters, the Section meets the needs of Professional Engineers around the state.
Florida Association of Counties (FAC)
The Florida Association of Counties represents all 67 counties in the state of Florida and
has a board comprised of county commissioners throughout the state. FAC represents its constituents
before the Governor, Cabinet, Florida Legislature and various state agencies. FAC also provides
Public Information through a bi-monthly magazine and Annual Directory; holds annual conferences and
events and supports the counties through educational programs, technical assistance and an enterprise
program.
Florida Department of Transportation
The site includes a variety of information including descriptions of
major department programs and activities such as highway construction,
turnpikes and tolls, safety programs, and trucking information. A departmental
telephone directory, a list of available publications, the 2020 Florida
Transportation Plan, and information about the Florida Transportation Commission
are also provided.
Floridians for Better Transportation
Floridians for Better Transportation (FBT) is a statewide business and transportation
association dedicated to making transportation safer and more efficient in Florida.
Created in 1988 by the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Council of 100, FBT
knows that transportation is important and worth "investing" in for three simple reasons:
congestion, safety, and economic benefits."
Florida League of Cities
The Florida League of Cities represents all of the cities, towns and villages of Florida (municipal governments).
Created in 1922, the League acts as the unifying voice for municipal concerns before Congress,
federal agencies, the state Legislature, state agencies, governor and cabinet. The League
holds an annual conference each August; publishes a bi-monthly magazine, Quality Cities;
provides training to city officials in cooperation with the Florida Institute of Government;
and supports municipal governments through shared information and outreach. The League also
administers insurance, pension and investment trusts for governments.
The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority
The Mission of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority is to provide the Tampa/St.
Petersburg/Clearwater service area with "World Class" air transportation services and
facilities to meet our collective requirements to deliver safe, convenient and efficient
aviation related services
U.S. Department of Transportation
The site offers information about the department including press releases
and separate sections for each agency under the department such as the
Federal Highway Administration
and the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration.
The site also provides a map-based
directory of websites for state departments of transportation.
National Transportation Safety Board
The National Transportation Safety Board is an independent Federal agency
charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in
the United States and significant accidents in the other modes of transportation
-- railroad, highway, marine and pipeline -- and issuing safety recommendations
aimed at preventing future accidents.
Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority
The Expressway Authority operates a 79 mile limited access toll road system in Central
Florida. The site offers information and statistics about the Authority's electronic toll
collection system, E-PASS. There is an indepth listing of current contracts, bids, and
bid results. There is plenty of information about upcoming construction projects. The site
also features one of the best online maps of Orlando.
Jacksonville Transportation Authority
Jacksonville Transportation Authority serves the area with Skyway, a complex Highway System
which involves bridges as well as highways and a Mass Transit sytstem which runs 65 bus lines.
Florida Legislature On-Line Sunshine
The Florida Legislature’s “On-Line Sunshine” site includes directories of
representatives and senators, district maps, committee and subcommittee
lists, filed bills, session calendars, a directory of registered lobbyists,
the Florida Statutes, and other resources. E-mail addresses are provided
for most of the members. The site is a convenient way to check on the
exact language of a bill that affects you.

Prestressed Concrete Pile Splice Availability List on its Website that
includes the Pile Size, Class of Concrete, Number and Length of Pile
Splices Available and the Producer. The list is updated weekly.
